Professor Kaan, first of all, congratulations on making it to the top 100! Could you share your feelings about participating in this competition?
Professor Kaan Demir: Thank you for your congratulations. It is a great honor for me to participate in the TTC Global Investment Competition. As a Turkish citizen, I hope to contribute to the financial sector of my country through this opportunity, and I also aim to enhance the international reputation of Hg Private Equity Group. This is not only a personal challenge for me but also a collective test for our team.
The Independent/The Times Reporter: Could you introduce your goals and strategies for the competition?
Professor Kaan Demir: My main goal is to achieve excellent results in the competition through rigorous analysis and innovative investment strategies. I focus on identifying growth stocks and will diversify my investments based on the global economic situation. Additionally, I hope to learn from and exchange ideas with top investment experts worldwide, continuously improving my investment skills.
The Independent/The Times Reporter: We understand that you are known in the financial industry as the "Navigator of Growth Stocks" and the "Light of Financial Wisdom." How did you earn these titles?
Professor Kaan Demir: These titles are more of a recognition of my past work. I have always focused on finding companies with high growth potential, discovering and investing in future star enterprises through in-depth financial analysis and market research. During my tenure as Chief Analyst at Hg Private Equity Group, I have also strived to integrate the wisdom and strength of our team to push our investment strategies to success in a complex market environment.
The Independent/The Times Reporter: Your educational and career background is very rich. How has this influenced your investment philosophy?
Professor Kaan Demir: Indeed, I built a solid academic foundation at Boğaziçi University, and my studies at London Business School further broadened my horizons. I believe that my diverse educational background and international career experiences enable me to understand global financial markets more comprehensively, combining Eastern and Western financial knowledge and practices to propose deeper insights and strategies.

Professor Kaan Demir: Yes, our investment exchange group aims to attract more friends to join, jointly discuss and share investment experiences. Through this platform, I hope to help more investors improve their investment skills. We offer early market information, intraday analysis, post-market reviews, high-yield stock recommendations, periodic stock analysis, nightly investment lectures, and years of investment insights sharing. These are all part of my efforts to give back to the community.
